The Alain Carpentier Foundation was created in 1987 thanks to Pr. A. Carpentier himself who is a famous French cardio-surgeon. The idea of creating the foundation came as an answer to a request from the Vietnamese government considering the alarming national health situation especially regarding cardiac issues by the end of the 80’s.
Our two key missions are:
- Trainings and transmission of knowledge in surgery
- Raising funds to finance surgeries for children in need
